For the floor

The primary source of sound insulation for a car is the floor of the vehicle.

External noise from the road and the car’s own microvibrations create an environment of significant noise if the following systems are not in place:

Layer One On the floor of the cabin is a layer of vibration cushioning material: Alumast
Layer Two On the floor of the cabin is a second layer of sound absorbing material: BB-Ton
Layer Three In the wheel wells located in the floor is a layer of vibration cushioning material: Kombi
Layer Four  In the wheel wells located in the floor is a second layer of sound absorbing materials: BB-Ton
Layer Five  In the floor of the boot is a layer of vibration cushioning material: Alumast
Layer Six In the floor of the boot is a second layer of sound absorbing material: SGM-izol

These isolating systems can decrease cabin noise by as much as 3-6 dB on separate frequencies.
